Most of the windows Tim installs come from one American manufacturer: MI Windows and Doors. Tim's double-hungs are built on MI's 1650 series — MI's top-selling replacement window, with a multi-chambered frame for strength and energy performance and sashes that tilt in for easy cleaning. MI's sliding patio doors (the 1615/1617/1618 series) offer Low-E glass and argon-gas options for Georgia summers.
On warranty: MI backs its replacement products with a lifetime limited warranty — the frame and panel are covered for as long as you own and occupy your home, the insulated glass unit for 20 years, and the warranty is transferable if you sell.
